Steve Platnick, CEO
For the past 15 years, Steve has been providing information technology consulting and management services both as an outsourced agent and for companies in-house.  Although he specializes in healthcare, Steve has experience in telecommunications, banking and insurance.

Steve provides strategic consulting, planning and network engineering for mPACTs clients.  He also spearheads the “needs assessment” process to ensure the best technology fit to meet business needs.  “The business need should dictate the technology used, not the other way around,” explains Steve.  “Technology is a means for businesses to operate more efficiently, provide quality products/services and sometimes provide a way to generate revenue.”  As a business owner himself, Steve understands that as an investment, technology should operate efficiently and cost effectively.

In his role of CEO for mPACTs, Steve sets the strategic direction for the company and is involved in all aspects of operations and business development.  He also establishes and negotiates strategic alliances with technology companies and synergistic service providers for the benefit of mPACTs clients.  Steve recruits, hires and manages technical staff.

Steve graduated Cum Laude from DeVry Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering technology.  He is also a Certified Novell Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Professional.  He was a faculty assistant at DeVry and spent several years providing pc support and managing local area networks (LAN's) and wide area networks (WAN's).

Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and has a passion for Walt Disney World adventures.  He also has a zest for music and most anything related to technology.  Steve even toured as a singer and guitarist in a 80’s punk rock band called The Riff.
