As President/COO and Managing Partner of mPACTs, Sheryl serves as Technical Director for all client projects.  She is mPACTs’ resident practice management specialist, ensuring that software selected or developed is enhancing healthcare provider productivity and making business operations run smoothly and efficiently.  Sheryl also conducts needs assessments for clients and identifies deliverables, timelines and proposed budgets.  Additionally she provides end-user training and documentation to make sure that staff and providers are able to utilize software applications to their fullest potential. 

On retainer-based contracts, Sheryl’s ultimate goal is to ensure network stability, limit or completely eliminate down-time.  “Down-time can negatively impact productivity and ultimately the bottom line of a business,” explains Sheryl.  “We prefer to be proactive in managing a network, making sure that PC's and servers have the latest operating system patches, virus and spyware definitions and proven software technologies.”  For larger clients, Sheryl implements help desk tracking and support systems, and also manages support personnel.

Sheryl has used various Medical Practice Software throughout her career, and has learned everything from the frontend, to the backend, to EMR. She eventually went on to work directly for one of the Nations leading Medical Software Providers.

Along her professional journey, Sheryl also became proficient at supporting and managing networks and personal computers.  She is a Microsoft Certified Professional, and continues her education through the Microsoft Partner Program.
